The new financial year is upon us already and it's that crazy time of the year for everyone, including the tsh team, for getting accounting and payroll software ready to rollover into the new 2007/2008 financial year.

At tsh we would like to help you get your team and business processes ready to ensure a smooth transition into the new Financial Year. It is far more cost and time efficient to prepare now and avoid the hassles of an End of Financial Year gone wrong.

There are 2 major things to remember when planning your End of Financial Year Checklist, refer to the items below to make sure you have covered all bases:- 

 

SATC End of Year Training

 

The end of the 2006 financial year is nearly here and as an Authorised Training Centre for Sybiz, we are running End of Year Workshops for Vision and Visipay at our office for the months of June & July 2007.

Each workshop is only 2 hours in duration and sessions are workbook driven and hands on so you are performing the procedures before you perform them live on your own database.   Classes are also limited to 6 attendees so we can give you personal attention. 

Cost = $220 inc gst per person per workshop or book for both and pay $400 inc gst) 

Payment for Workshops must be made when booking is confirmed by tsh to secure your seat & Credit Card payments are welcome

EOY Server Backups

 

Your backup for June 30 is a critical one, not only that it works, but it should also be on a tape or media that can be removed from your normal cycle and kept for future reference. 

If you do not have a designated tape or media for this purpose don't worry you can simply use your media that you would normally use on a Friday night and then take it out of the cycle.  Of course this means you will require another media to takes its place for next week.  tsh stock a small amount of IBM, Sony & Imation DDS4 & VXA2 tape media, as well as Travan NS-20 for the older tape drives, we can also order in other media at your request.

Please also remember to take a local backup of your accounting data before you process a roll over.  If you are unfamiliar with this process please contact us and tsh can assist you in performing this backup.

N.B. If you have re-named any folders were included in your back-up, your back-up program will need to be modified to include the new file name/s.  If you are unfamiliar with this process please contact us and tsh can assist you in correcting this backup.

Support Call Response Escalations

 

If you consider that you require attention more urgently than we have indicated we are initially able to provide, then you may request that we escalate your issue to a priority of either High (service guarantee response within one business day) or Critical (service guarantee response within 4 business hours).  

If we provide you with service in line with the agreed escalation, we will charge an escalation surcharge.  We do this because making your work a priority would cause another client to normally incur an additional call out fee which is unreasonable, so we pass this onto you, as you are the one requesting the urgent attention.

As an example, if you specify your issue as Critical, you can expect a support consultant to be in touch with you as soon as possible, with the delay being 4 hours at most.
